I met Michael King in 2009 when I visited the Perth area for the first time. He seemed a typical Aussie bloke with interest in old guns and antique cars. But if you look beneath the surface you find a different man. One who cares about the planet and the people on it. I have found that he will go to whatever length is needed to help his students grow as people, including taking us for motorbike rides. Michael truly combines the Australian spirit with his world view. I am a Medical Doctor and about as sceptical as they come but Michael has some kind of magic inside him. I have no idea how he does what he does but it works.
Working with the courses the Cosmosis Mentoring Centre has to offer has improved my personal and professional life in a variety of ways. In my clinical setting it allowed me to assess the roles that I was playing and realign them to get better outcomes both for my patients and for myself. I was able to decrease my stress levels and improve my time management. I became a more effective healer through learning to set my intentions to listen and holding a field of compassion for my patients.
Within the clinic I used the tools I learned to work with my staff to improve patient care and inter staff relationships. In 2000, I felt as I had got as far as I could without a spiritual mentor, and went on both an inner and outer journey of seeking, travelling around the world exploring different spiritual and psychological modalities, though each felt lacking – I was often left asking myself, “what has this got to do with grounding and expressing love?” In some ways, I was spiritually awake yet here on the ground I was quite a mess. Full of wounding and pain with incredibly low self-esteem, yet this was covered up with glamour and an over-active mind, combined with people pleasing and trauma responses. Always striving and trying so hard to be OK and belong.
When I finally discovered the Cosmosis™ Mentoring Centre in 2005, I instantly knew this was what I had been seeking. Self-imposed limitations buried so deeply that I didn’t even know were there, have been faced and transcended.
As an example, even though I had a high intellect, the wounding kept me playing small and sabotaging myself, stuck in jobs that were not fulfilling my potential. The CMC mentoring helped me to face the unresolved pain and patterns that had me travelling down a dark and dingy path and helped me turn that around where new vistas opened. I have since gone on to achieve multiple degrees (MSc’s and PGDip’s) and have a successful career that enlivens and enriches my life and those of others. I am doing what I love, and loving what I am.
Personally, my relationships have healed dramatically. The mentoring program and the courses have helped me to tangibly feel what loving myself is like, I have learnt to prioritise this relationship, yet am continuously exploring how to love self while being selfless. I no longer need to guard or protect myself; I now trust in my boundaries and follow through when needed, which helps me to just be. I discovered that the belonging comes from within. Yet, in not needing ‘something’ from others true intimacy with another can develop, which feels mutually beneficial and uplifting.
When I ponder the journey thus far, I feel truly blessed and amazed. I can’t imagine what the next 5 or 10 years might unfold, each time I feel it can’t get better than this, then that limitation is wiped away and I am shown a new horizon.
I highly recommend the CMC for everyone; for those that feel challenged, for those that feel life can’t get any better; the mentoring program will blow you away. Like anything worth achieving, it’s work, but so often much can simply be let go of, it’s an unbecoming process and then you discover the diamond within. It’s magic!

I came across Cosmosis during a great crossroads in my life. I was seeking a more meaningful way to be in the world since there had been a constant niggling sense of a greater purpose that had stayed with me throughout life. I was an incredibly sensitive kid and didn’t feel like I belonged anywhere. I’d been searching for some time and studying and practising many modalities over the years before finding the Cosmosis Mentoring Centre. All these provided little snippets of growth and healing, but never sustainable or the whole picture. The Cosmosis Mentoring Centre provided that complete picture and the transformation and growth sticks, rather than fleeting phase. It was very much I wasn’t sure what I was looking for only that the other modalities/coaches weren’t it, but I knew I’d found it with the CMC.
Prior to that, the path of discovery had been very much in isolation and not part of group learning, which for me has been the key, as doing it myself there was no accountability or support from someone who can see how and why I kept messing up.

When I found the CMC, I had recently quit my job working as an Investment Banker and I decided to take some time off to seek something more out of life. By the time I was in my mid-thirties, my life was clearly defined by the roles I played as a mum, wife, teacher, a member of a large extended family and a busy social life. My life was full, but I still felt like something was missing. I was also having some niggly health issues and was a bit strung out.
During this time, I was reading self-help books and visiting a countless number of various alternative therapy practitioners. Amongst it all I found a meditation class that offered a unique perspective on life. It was an immediate recognition of the truth at work… my heart sang! So began a gentle exploration into the parts of my character that felt so hideous and gnarly that I didn’t want to look at them myself, let alone have others see them. However, over several years, and much to my surprise, rather than being judged (which I was well versed in doing to myself without realising it) I experienced incredible encouragement and support to go to all of those places within. I was taught how to heal those wounded parts and how to lead myself through a process of continual growth.
As I’ve learnt to acknowledge and take responsibility for the choices I make, have the courage to uncover and heal the beliefs and patterns I play out, I no longer feel like something is missing from my life. I can stop striving for perfection, approval and validation and just be with what presents, whatever form that takes. My relationships are genuine, my career in education is purposeful and I relish the opportunity to continuously uncover, explore and bring love to those gnarly parts. I feel a deep contentment and knowing within that a life well lived is one in which I can bring love to all the parts of myself and by extension those in my life. Having a team of mentors and professional practitioners working together to genuinely and consistently help me become the best version of myself is a gift beyond measure.

When I was younger, there was no one who would tell me the truth. Simply because no one told them, either. The truth is that we are so much more than we were led to believe, and there’s so much more to life than what meets the eye.

The biggest change is that I opened to love more, and that transforms life. Over the years, I found good jobs and beautiful places to live.
I’ve been enjoying healthy friendships and building a loving relationship with self. I moved countries, and for the moment settled in a beautiful Polish countryside. I started working for myself as an English tutor which enables me to support and guide some wonderful young people. I began my journey with the Cosmosis Mentoring Centre in 2019, and it truly changed the course of my life in the most significant and positive way. There is that famous saying “when the student is ready, the teacher will appear” and so it was, back in the early 2000s as I was traversing my way through life, I felt a calling through meditation and intuitive guidance; looking for a Master Teacher / Mentor, a group of like-hearted and minded fellow seekers, and then discovered Michael King and the Cosmosis Mentoring Centre (CMC), who I’ve been a student of ever since.

Deep in a journey of recovery and rehabilitation from a life changing car crash, I was searching for new ways to support the intensifying knowing of just how precious this gift of life is- Though feeling inspired to share exhibitions and workshops, & keynote speak about hope and resilience, I was also feeling a sense of struggle, and exhausted often. One who has a passion to live life fully and so engages with it through his love of his family, music, motorbike, gun and car collections, his friendships and ability to ‘give it a go’. It is very refreshing to have the friendship of someone who sets an inspiring example of lightness of heart, living an extraordinary life in an ordinary way while always being in integrity with the humility to be open to new learning in every moment. I am a better person for knowing him and developing a wicked sense of humour too!

By the time I found Michael and his team, I had quite a bit of baggage and some really self-defeating habits. Those who knew me would say I was a happy, cheerful and positive person, but I never showed them the part of me that was weeping inside. I doubted they could handle me like that and kept that defective part deeply hidden inside. Michael saw right through the facade but never batted an eyelid. This both terrified me and filled me with hope. I began working with him and his team about 8 years ago and am so glad I mustered the courage to face the things I feared and begin to live my life honestly and let go of the mask. On the outside, you may not notice much difference, but the changes inside are quite profound. And yet his wisdom is simplicity and unconditional love itself. I love working with a mentor.
